Don’t forget the puppets!
The exhibition Forgotten Puppets at the ProstorR2 Gallery gives us a
small taster from the Moravian Museum’s Department of Theatre History
that both young and old are sure to enjoy. For many of the 400 puppets
on display, this will be the first time they have ever seen the light
of day.
Besides the extravagant marionettes of travelling theatre troupes and their industrially or serially produced counterparts, and even examples of homemade puppets, also on display will be glove puppets, cardboard puppets or mechanical puppets.
